Great customer service!

I purchased a Sierra Designs Flex Capacitor 40-60L backpack from Campsaver.com, and I had a rewarding experience. I placed my order on a Wednesday and received the backpack the following Tuesday. I was extremely pleased with the fast processing and shipping. Better yet, the customer service was terrific. The reps I spoke with were helpful, professional and friendly, and they were not pushy at all. I highly recommend Campsaver.com.

These clowns have lost the parcel and…

These clowns have lost the parcel and won’t send the replacement for four weeks and ask for 124USD postage to resend? Ffs stay away…

Hope it close, no more wasting time

I was exited to this "good" website, it seems I can buy all my needs on one website. I placed two orders, they sent emails for each order about security check, they will charge $0.99 - $5.00, maybe verify if I am the bank account realy user ~ which it sounds good! But after that I saw they had charged two times. I sent them the number. After that, I have never heard back. I login to their website to cancel my order. I looks it is processing status forever. I have to login to my bank account to dispute the payment. Hope I can cancel the payment success.

Warning: Never browse and buy anything on CampSaver webisite!

Terrible Experience

My experience with CampSaver was one of the worst I've ever had. I found a good price with them for a Garmin watch, due to a 20% off coupon. I ordered the watch as a gift. They cancelled the order without telling me so I contact them and they apologized and helped me place the order again. It needed to go to a temporary address for someone and there was a time limit and since the first order was cancelled, I was worried about it making it. They nicely agreed to send it by a faster shipping method free of charge. I began to track it a few days later only to find it was not sent faster, but by USPS and was scheduled to arrive a day too late. I had to make calls to CampSaver, calls to the USPS for several days. It miraculously arrived just in time except they did not send the $400 watch, but a compass. Now they refuse to even credit me for the watch until I print out a label, make a trip to a UPS store, box up the compass and send it back, their word, "We are kindly sending you a prepaid label for your convenience." My convenience would be for them to have immediately resent the watch and arranged for UPS to collect this compass. Numerous calls got no where and emails are unanswered. I cannot tell you the hours of my time that this "gift order" has taken up. I had even taken out an insurance policy on it and then had to go and cancel that. Sorry, but this just isn't right.

Don't order anything that is not in stock if you need it

I've placed several orders for in-stock items that have gone fine, but he aware of their business model. Their discounted item are items that are discontinued overstocked. If it's on back order you take the chance that they will never get the item. In my case a two week delay turned into 10 months and I still don't have the item, but the item has been offered continually for sale since, all be it at a higher price. Every month I've received notices of short delays. No call from customer service despite a half dozen years plus email request.

Great return/exchange policies

Ordered a pair of climbing shoes, but they turned out to be a tad too big. No prob, shipped back to Campsaver on their own dime. Got another pair and too small. You guessed it, sent back again at their cost. Received pair #3 (again at campsaver.com's cost) and they are perfect! So easy to deal with, great prices, and exceptional return/exchange policies. One really can't ask for more.

Positive experience all around

Lots of bad reviews of CampSaver made me hesitant to use them but my experience was only positive. Received a discount code for my first purchase, which was only good for one item. I was in between two sizes, I reached out to them and they allowed me to use the discount for both items to ensure I got the right size. Both items shipped quickly and arrived within a few days. Be sure to look at the shipping time for your item, some items say they won't ship for a week or more and I think that's where the bad reviews are coming from saying their items aren't arriving. Customer service has been quick to respond both times I reached out.

Order still processing after 17 days

I ordered an item December 1 for a Christmas present and to date it has only ever shown as in process. That's 17 days so far without any progress and I have called customer service every day this week. They only tell me that they have tried escalating my order assuring me that it is not a back order issue they are simply that back logged. I will never do business with this company again.

Happy customer

I read these reviews several times. I ordered a Garmin Montana 700i GPS. I called customer service several times. Everyone I spoke was very courteous and tried to help me and answer my questions. I had to do a manual deposit verification. After that I got a $35 discount. Originally I got a 20% discount. When I placed the order no one had a Montana 700i in stock. I was not charged until the shipment was initiated. They found a company who had one in stock and it came today. A brand new one in pristine condition. Not only did they get me my product, when everyone including Garmin, was out of stock, but I got it for about $190 off, with free shipping. I got my product in about three weeks from ordering. The product was "out of stock" when ordered.

I ordered a tent in august and it had not yet delivered. They keep moving the delivery date and when I contacted them, they said"you can cancel the order at anytime".... an incredible disrespectful approach to doing business... I won't cancel my order and I am waiting to see how long it will take for them to deliver my purchase. So far almost 5 months. My order number is Order #16175318

Had the chance to be good, but CampSaver can’t deliver

When I first heard about CampSaver.com, I was excited. As a SAR team member, having to buy our own gear means needing to be have a good site to buy from that has both good selection and good prices. We need retailers that are dependable. Unfortunately, CampSaver isn’t in that category.
My first order had a 20% coupon on the entire order which was great. From there, the experience went down quickly as backordered items with projected delivery dates kept getting pushed out for months after I ordered them, and their Customer Service is silent to inquiries for help.
As such, this is not a dependable site to order from. I’ve lost multiple coupons due to the fact that my orders never came and resulted in the coupons expiring.
There are many more sites to choose from I’ve found that give good deals, good service, and don’t play the backordered timing games.

Save yourself the headache

Not an honest business to deal with. Full of excuses. Ordered an item online. Credit card charged 2 days later and shipping label created. They say item has shipped. USPS has no record of receiving item. They say it must have fell off the pallet. Likely excuse, not. Now they tell me to wait ANOTHER 10 days to see IF the item shows up? I doubt it. After ordering I went to see what type of reviews the company had. Believe them. Don't do business with these folks.
